Peru is one of the most varied countries in South America, boasting some of the most iconic ancient ruins that you will encounter anywhere, pretty colonial towns, the World's highest altitude navigable lake, pre-historic etchings carved in the sand and a vast section of the great Amazon Rainforest. We comprehensively explored Peru, and as well as these more well known sights, we photographed remote rural settlements, traditional markets and atmospheric backstreets to capture the true essence of this most photogenic and engaging country.
