Sri Lanka 2017
It had been some 15 years since I last visited Sri Lanka - on a commission for BBC Books, and it was great to see how this Island nation had developed. This varied trip took in many of the famous historical sites, as well as an atmospheric train ride to see tea plantations and a safari looking for leopards at the Yala National Park.
